Since the launch of the New Look "Ox" Hotel in September 2007, "The Ox" has had the pleasure of hosting many special occasions and events.

Feeling like something a little different to the traditional "shrimp" on the BBQ?  Australia Day 2008 saw the Chef's turing up the heat in the kitchen, laying on a spread even Jamie Oliver would have been proud of.  With the likes of Camel, Buffalo, Emu, Crocodile, Duck, Venison and Kangaroo making special appearances on the menu for the one day of the year every Australian should be proud of.

Treat your special loved one to a romantic 2 or 3 course candle lit dinner in "The Ox" Restaurant.

After paying your respects at the Dawn Memorial Service, what better way to spend the rest of ANZAC Day than sitting back, relaxing in air-conditioned comfort with family and friends over lunch or dinner at "The Ox" Restaurant. 

Restricted trade up to 1pm.  "The Ox" Restaurant is open for lunch from 12pm.  Liquor may only be purchased between 12pm and 1pm when ordering a meal from the restaurant.  Normal trade commences from 1pm. 

Tired of cooking for the family on Christmas Day, but still want all the bells and whistles of this special occasion?  Why not take the day off and join us at "The Ox" for a traditional Christmas Buffet Lunch between 12pm and 3pm, the whole family can enjoy.

 

Feast on an array of tender, succlent and fresh favourites including Octopus, Salmon, Oysters, King Prawns, Smoked and Honey Baked Ham, Roast Chicken, Apricot Pork, Roasted Sweet Turkey, fresh salads, hot vegetables, Christmas Pudding and Brandy Custard are just some of the goodies you will enjoy on Christmas Day at "The Ox". 

 

 

Although we don't have a separate function room, "The Ox" is able to cater for smaller, no fuss wedding receptions in our restaurant.  Please speak to the manager on duty to discuss your requirements to see if we can help you on this special occasion.
